This year, the San Diego Blood Bank has added many new areas for health, wellness and entertainment. Chargers Drive XXXVI attendees will enjoy an expanded “Wellness Zone” with interactive exhibits and activities, food sampling and more. Attendees can enjoy a special walk-through exhibit of the human heart, which is the most critical organ for blood flow, and attendees can also learn how a blood sample can be utilized for clinical research into the treatment of disease.
Look for exciting new entertainment presented by Indi.com, which includes Pip, a finalist from Season 2 of “The Voice.” Other special performers include bands and solo artists who have reached international acclaim on the Indi.com platform, an online talent discovery destination.
Special this year is a VIP Meet and Greet opportunity, where attendees can meet Charger Players and other VIPs in an intimate, exclusive reception. More details to follow.
Blood donors who donate at a San Diego Blood Bank donor center or mobile drive during “Chargers Mania” from Oct. 1 to Nov. 24 will receive a voucher that may be redeemed at the Chargers Drive for a t-shirt and VIP wristband for the autograph line. Donors can also purchase an entry to win a new Honda CRV, donated by the Honda Dealers of San Diego County, at www.sandiegobloodbank.org. The Honda CRV will be given away at the Chargers Drive on Nov. 25.
