Cox California was looking for a PR partner to work collaboratively with their communications staff to spotlight the company's ongoing product and service innovation and community-giving initiatives in their Southern California markets.
To reinforce Cox’s brand promise and inspiring meaningful moments of in-home and virtual human connection while maximizing promotional efforts throughout the region and celebrating the uniqueness of individual communities and groups.
Scatena Daniels quickly integrated with the Cox team quickly to strategically secure new opportunities on a consistent basis, positioning the company as a community leader to bridge the digital divide, regardless of age, race, and socioeconomic status. We coordinated a technology recycling campaign with the local NBC affiliate around the company’s flagship Connect2Compete program to reach a broader audience across the county. We wrote and secured award nominations for several senior leaders in prominent community awards programs, as well as byline articles placed in local publications. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we assisted in media outreach efforts to discuss network reliability, improving internet bandwidth while working and schooling from home, their partnership with San Diego Unified School District to help families obtain high-speed internet access, and much more. In the first year of our collaboration, we surpassed our measurable objectives by 160%.
