As Senior Content Specialist, Alex creates a wide range of content for Scatena Daniels Communications clients. Her decade of experience in nonprofit and foundation communications roles has culminated in a rich background that she enjoys putting to work in the content she creates.
For Alex, the best part of working with the Scatena Daniels team is the privilege of connecting with inspiring people who work hard to help others, and highlighting that good work with valuable content. A self-proclaimed “word nerd” and general AP Style enthusiast, Alex says the next best part of her job is getting to write and proofread each day for a living.
Alex was born and raised in Northern California and now lives in San Diego with her husband, two children and two pups. She plays indoor soccer on the weekends and, as a result, can often be spotted limping into Monday.
Alex received her B.A. from Chico State University and is currently pursuing her copyediting certification through UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies. She volunteers her time on the board of the San Diego Law Enforcement Officer Wives. Alex is also a member of the CreativePro Network and the San Diego chapters of both the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the American Marketing Association (AMA).
